NACNS Response from AANP

The American Nurses Association (ANA) has officially endorsed the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) response to Bloomberg's recent article, "The Miseducation of America's Nurse Practitioners." ANA firmly supports the protection of nurse practitioners' full practice authority and reinstates that the role of NP is essential, contributing immense value to patient care and the health care system at large. 

The ANA believes that the Bloomberg article's one-sided perspective poses a risk of spreading dangerous misinformation that could adversely impact nurses, patients, and the healthcare community.
